Ho ho ho... this is the last week of our holidays.. a bit sad because no more slacking at home & on the other hand a bit eager to start attachment. I'm about to graduate soon after 10 weeks of attachment. Been having a mixed feelings of disappointment & anticipation of the awaiting job that lies ahead. I was disappointed & upset with myself because I'm unable to continue pursuing my studies, instead I've to work with my sponsored hospital until my contract ends.

Last Sunday I met up with my old friends because 1 of them is the birthday gal so we gathered together again to wish her an early happy birthday. It was just an ordinary meetup & we talked about our present lives, our goals & wishes. Of course each of us gets to lament about our work , none of them seem contented with their job. For me, I didn't talk much about my job because I haven't really start my nursing career. Our conversations have made me realised that we're already hitting the middle adulthood, some of them have been in the workforce for a few years & they resign to their fate that their job scope is like that. Perhaps I should also let go a little of my tension & stop being so ambitious so that I still get to enjoy life while I'm still young. It seems to me that although they have complaints about their work but they are still able to take it. I was thinking if they can survive such an ordeal, I can also do it because it's a matter of management.

Then last night I met up with my ex colleague for dinner. I heard she got a promotion & a pay raise. I was happy for her because it means she will have more money for her kids. She loved her kids so much that she invested a lot of money on them. This is called "mother love". Why we became friends is because we shared almost the same goal, ie. we're ambitious. We like climbing up the ladder & be superior. Of course there also other hardworking people around, just that they only feigned hardworking when necessary. I'm thankful to her for giving me opportunities & guidance to utilize my potential in other areas of work. Not many people liked her because of her attitude & work style. But I admired her work attitude because she's serious & perfectionist. Luckily I've left my previous job because they've already started the retrenchment exercise. Too bad they didn't kick out the 'black sheep' just because she's covered by her contract... nah... heck care...

It's raining again, I wanted to go out to run errands. I like running errands because it keeps me away from home. I never like to stay at home all day long unless I've an interesting novel for companion. I've stopped playing with my PSP because hippo has been occupying it these few days. Yesterday was my first driving lesson, my driving instructor although look a bit like those 'vulgar-uncle-in-the-coffeeshop-drinking-beer-buy-lottery-that-kind-of-face' but he taught me alot & is serious in teaching so I just give him the benefit of doubt la.

Just yesterday on 1.5 hours of lesson, I learnt alot until I cannot catch up. I learn driving around outside the SSDC using 1st & 2nd gear. I drive 3 big rounds. The clutch is difficult to control & the steering wheel dunno adjust how much when turning. It was thrilling & fun because it's my first time driving on the road. Usually those school learners learn parking first, but for my case my instructor taught me driving first. Haha... how fun... I wanted to ask him to let me drive a few more rounds but he has to go to teach another student. I'm looking forward to drive again.

I think I'll avoid eating sashimi for this month because I've ate 1 big plate at Sakura (somerset) last Saturday. We went with Jackie & his gf, eugene & his friend and Hanmin also. We started eating from 7pm & left at 10pm. Most of my food is sashimi except a few occasions hippo took other food for me. I noticed Jackie changed his hp again, this time it's N73 black colour. A new colour. I thought maybe if he has the extra money he could get his gf a new hp as well??

Hippo is not happy I'm spending money again... if I tell him I spend most of the money on Shawn then he'll keep quiet. I suddenly remembered that I bought a lot of things for him like a school bag, "Thomas the Train" eating utensils & a toy bus. I brought him to shopping last saturday because I didn't know what else to do apart from window shopping. I wanted to bring him to library but if I don't buy him the toy bus perhaps it's easy to read him a story. If he has his favourite toy on hand, nothing else is able to divert his attention away. He rather choose toys over books when I brought him to Kiddy Palace. He's so cute just like me!!!! Muahahaha.... The way he talked sounds like his grandmother, I almost fainted when I heard that.... lolz...

Think I want to leave the house before Hayden wakes up or else he's going to disturb me again! I rather Shawn disturb me instead... bleah....
