When I surfed through T&C website, I thought the prices are in Singapore dollars. Never did I expect it's actually US dollars!!! Oh man!!! Hippo almost got cardiac arrest when he saw the price tag. He couldn't stop me because I'll start to whine like a baby. Haha... The one which I liked most actually cost SG$380 whereas the website states as $195 in US dollars... Cheez.... Hippo thought I lied to him about the price but I'm truly innocent because I didn't know the prices from the website are in US dollars. Anyway the pendant is quite big until I can slip it through my finger as a ring, & the bigger version should be a bangle instead... haha...

Mind you... this necklace isn't made of platinum or white gold, it's just a sterling silver which costs $240. Somemore, it's the last piece in the boutique so it's either I take it or leave it. I can't imagine how much would a 0.05 carat diamond would cost... oh man....

Today went for a makan session with my clinical lecturer & some of my group mates at Orchard Swenson's. I didn't want to eat much because gotta dine with hippo & his family for dinner at Woodlands later on. So I shared a big sized burger & ice cream with Sharon. In fact I've been feeling guilty for not keeping watch on my diet. I've been eating pasta for 3 days in a row including this meal at Swenson's, because of this guilt feeling I feel obliged to go gym first thing in the morning. It's ugly with flabs la... esp on my arms, tummy & legs... because of this problem I've to wear discreetly... sob...
After the makan session, Mdm Ong paid the bill for $132. Each of us forked out $10 to buy her a Swatch as a present. We tried to stall her time while Kak Nur & Michelle ran towards Takashimaya & bought her the watch. She was pleased & told us that it was her 2nd piece of Swatch given by her students... haha... But we're glad that she prefer our choice of design.
Soon we parted our ways & me, Kak Nur, Sharon & Arnie went to Lucky Plaza to shop around. Kak Nur & me bought the same perfume, Eclat from Lanvin. As far as I remembered, this perfume was launched 1 yr ++ ago because I've got the sample from Her World. In fact, my ex ward mate used to be wearing this fragrance & I decided I like it because it's sweet & feminine. We bought it at $47, it's cheap!!!! Cos it's tester bottles la.... I dun need the cap so long the fragance don't fade. I simply love the smell.... hmmm.... Kar Nur bought a total of 2 perfumes, the other one is Gucci Rush. Haha... I think I'm beginning to be like them, splurging on perfumes. Now I've a total of 4 bottles at home!!!! Hippo just nagged at me when he saw the new perfume!!! haha...

After we got what we wanted, we went on our separate ways.... I waited for Hippo at Far East to pick me up for dinner. His dad's lorry has started to break down but he refused to buy a new one under hippo's insistence. He prefer to change the engine instead. Anna mentioned something about her dad & herself that both of them like to use old things because they carry a sentimental value which they can't bear to let go. After giving a thought on what she've said, I've come to realise that many a times I like to change things alot even when they're still in good condition, I've never realise that though they're still old & functionable, why can't I treasure them till they've worn off?? Maybe I get sick of it easily. I should learn how to treasure my stuff.
Back to the point, on our way home hippo's dad's lorry cannot make it anymore so both vehicles stopped by the road shoulder & we removed all the stuff from the lorry to hippo's car boot. Then he slowly drove off to his relative's car workshop for repair. His relative is another super damm rich guy, lived in a bungalow (I swear it I've been to his house during CNY) with wife, daughter, maid & old parents. Can you imagine he gave $500 ang pao money to hippo during CNY???!!! Dammit.... I'm so jealous!!!
Before I sign off, I've to make an appointment with an psychiatrist at IMH for next week. Well, definitely not for myself but for hippo's brother!!!! Muahahaha... nah... he's not insane but he's totally a PC addict!!! Must do something about it or else I also dunno what will happen because I've never study psychiatry before.... I studied oncology only!!! lolz....
