The last entry was on 6 July. Wow... it's been 2 weeks since that entry. There's so much things I wanted to tell & share all these while but unable to because of the network transition to stupid MIO plan. It took almost a week to solve the problem.

Yes I'm fine now.

Here's a quick update....
9 July: PM Shift. Sister told me from now on my preceptor will be Tina. Imagine how happy I was. Though she'll be leaving on Oct for diploma studies, I'll make full use of the time spent with her.

10 July: Supposedly doing another PM shift when Mary Chan called me to take off for the day because they still owe other staff their day offs too. So I've just claimed mine & stayed at home to sleep & read. Was actually looking forward to weekend because I've 2 days off.

11 July: Submitted my claim allowance. Looking forward to receive the payslip with additional $$$ Haha... I lived & worked for $$$

12 July: PM Shift. Having a hard time throughout that week because I've been in team 1 for 3 consecutive days. Before I retired for the night, Tina called me to say I'll be in team 1 with her the next morning. I'm glad to work with her again.

13 July: Friday the 13th. AM shift. Team 1 again. At first I feel dreadful but after knowing Tina is with me, we worked happily together. Sister made us attend a seminar after work which turned out for Staff Nurses only!!!! What a waste of time!!! After work Tina brought me to her cell group at Jurong. My ex-lecturer Griselda Ong was there. I was touched to know that Tina asked her to pray for me before we leave. Her prayers sound so magical & powerful to left me feel emotional. I told myself that I've to excel towards this career pathway come what may. Like the note saying which I always stare @ Sister's room: Dun judge life by 1 difficult situation.

14 July: Been cooping up at home sleeping whole day until Tina invited me over to her church @ Adam Rd. I've learnt some meaningful lessons from the preacher & the guest speaker. I've been wanting to convert to christian but hippo strongly object to my idea. Need time to persuade him.

15 July: Went out with hippo & his brother to Orchard. It's the phone-changing season again. We change hp every year at this time w/o fail because of the expiry of the warranties. For hippo, it's the 4th hp he's changing this year. He bought me a samsung ultra edition 10.9 phone & himself a nokia E65. He gave his bro his newly bought sony ericsson W810i.

16 July: Back to work. PM shift. Gotta drag my feet to work because still in holiday mood after 2 days off!!! Haha...

17 July: AM shift. A tiring day esp the transition from PM shift to AM shift.

18 July: AM Shift again. Send patient to NUH for her follow-up appt. Duration spent was short but still able to get away from the ward for a while. The new Staff Nurses are covering my job. But sad to discover that parameters are not complete upon my return. Quite sad to know about a patient whom I've soft spot for has TB. Everyone including some of her acquaintances from her cubicle tried consoling her. Eventually she accepted the fact & moved to isolation ward. I visited her for a while after work, am glad that she's smiling now.

19 July: AM shift. Today 2 cubicles were closed for some installation stuffs, hence only 2 teams were operating. I was asked to go team 1 to help Li Wen & Indra. Team 2 also have 3 staff, so fair enough. Though team 1 only have 2 cubicles at the moment, but there's tonnes of stuff to do. A lot of dressings to change, discharges, NG feeding & new admissions immediately after discharges. I almost couldn't catch my breathe & only able to eat my lunch after work. Haha...

20 July: Off day

21-23 July: Night Shifts (finally started) feeling kinda excited & anxious because dunno how's the experience will be like.

24 July: Sleeping day cum receiving the COM award. I'm still contemplating whether to go NUS to receive the award anot because I'm knocking off from my night shift!!! I thought of calling ITE to mail it to me instead. But I missed seeing my former classmates. A lot of recipients come from my class like Christina, Zulk, Salawati, Nadia, Marcus, Yati, Marwani & ME!!!! Sometimes when I think of it, it's not a big deal. The real challenge comes from the quality of my work performance. But Baoying told me although receiving this award takes about a few seconds on stage but the efforts put in is enormously. True enough, I've worked so hard for this day to come.

25 July: Off day. Haha... going out with my old friends to chill....

Enough of ranting. Period.
