Doing PM shift today so still have some time before I left for work. I didn't like to do PM shifts anyway but it's been a long time since I've last did it. Today feeling a tad sentimental & emotional that I felt I've to blog before I go to work or else I wouldn't have the mood to work. Gotta pack up my mood before I go to work...

It's been 6 months since Ive started working in AH. How time flies.... I remember those times when I felt frightened & unconfident when I've just started working. Although 6 months have passed, I may still appear unstable at times although I've grasped whatever that's taught to me.

I guess what makes me become what I am today is the effort of Tina my ex-preceptor. It's all thanks to her. Thank God for bringing her to me. She's not only my preceptor, but she's also my friend, my spiritual parent & my Christ Sister. Our friendship bond blossomed over the past 6 months & before we knew it, she's left the ward yesterday. I felt sad when she left although it didn't show on my face. I'm grateful for all that she's done for me. It was until yesterday that I realized she's someone whom I'll never forget forever.

She treasured our friendship as much as I do. She always revealed her feelings to me without hesitation. She prayed for me most of the time & even tried to go beyond the boundaries of a normal friendship to care for me. I'll be a fool if I dun treasure her. I dunno why I started missing her only after she left. She's left the deepest impression on me among all my other friends. I was weeping as I write this blog because I've realized she means alot to me.

The other day when she asked me what was the sigificant memories I've had with her & I couldn't answer her because I really need to think it thru. I can choose to name a few but I didn't want to because it wasn't right to give her a sloppy answer. Those significant memories were:
1) She came to visit me on 1 of my night shifts (I only realized recently that she did this because she missed me)
2) She secretly celebrated my birthday with me at the Ward (of course before work!)
3) Working together on our 1st night shifts because we helped one another.
4) She prayed for me when I've doubts in my work.
5) I especially missed 1 of the Sundays when we came to work from the Holy Communion & we prayed together for no admissions because my ward had got a lot of empty beds.
6) I missed working with her in Team 1.
7) She made use of her spare time to accompany me for me OGD appt & other med appts.
8) She agreed readily to accompany me wherever I go.

It's 1045 hrs now... gotta prepare for work.... will continue again...
